Colonoscopy and endoscopy are very complex and difficult operations, and if not operated correctly it can cause damage and malpractice, and can even lead to the death of the patient.
While colonoscopy and endoscopy equipment are expensive, a beginner practitioner may damage the equipment and as a result, exorbitant costs for their repairs need to be paid.
As result we began working on developing a simulator in the research and development department, and with the help of the gastroenterology and kidney department of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, the gastroenterology and kidney research center of Shariati Hospital in Tehran and the endoscopy department of Imam Khomeini Hospital to develop this technology, which has been upgraded by 9 versions so far.
 

The first version of this system was unveiled in 2014 by the Deputy Minister of Health of Iran.
Unique technologies have been put in this system, which can be an important development in the education of digestion and liver issues.
